01Zurich / SwitzerlandCity resort · 175 rooms & suites
The scale of the spa and the hillside location explain the operator’s description of the property as a city resort. It offers a different model from a small urban address designed mainly as a base for walking around a neighbourhood.

The Dolder Grand opened in 1899 as a hotel and health retreat. Its position on the Adlisberg places it between the city and a greener hillside setting, rather than directly in Zurich’s street-level centre.
The property lists 175 rooms and suites and a 4,000-square-metre spa. An art collection of more than 100 works is part of the hotel’s public identity, alongside its accommodation and restaurants.
Official source ↗02Nairobi / KenyaManor house · Individually named rooms
The property should be understood as a Nairobi hotel, rather than a remote safari camp. The house, its gardens and the resident animals form a specific setting. Individual room descriptions explain the differences between the two buildings.

Giraffe Manor pairs a historic house character with a sanctuary setting in Nairobi. Its identity is connected to the resident giraffes, while the buildings retain the scale and feel of a small manor hotel.
Accommodation is divided between the original house and the Garden Manor. The operator describes individually named rooms and sanctuary views in the Garden Manor; the giraffe experience is offered across both buildings.
Official source ↗03Ravello / ItalyHistoric palace · Rooms & suites
The useful geographic distinction is Ravello itself. This is a hotel in a hill town above the coast, with terraced gardens and a palace layout. A sea view should not be confused with direct beach access.

Caruso occupies an eleventh-century palace in Ravello. Its elevated position is central to the experience: the coastline is viewed from above, while gardens and terraces extend the hotel into its hilltop setting.
Historic interiors include frescoes and vaulted spaces. Rooms and suites belong to that restored palace context, rather than to an entirely new beachfront resort. The infinity pool provides another elevated view over the landscape.
